Fall Mindfulness Training for Adults AND Teens

One Location. Two Concurrent Programs. A growing movement of resilience.

Join us this Fall for an 8-week session focused on building or deepening your own mindfulness practice, and applying the skills to your life. 

Start with two full days of practice and community-building. Return to your environment to practice your new skills. Then re-group in November to solidify these new habits and take them to the next level.

 WHEN: Oct. 2-3 and Nov. 20-21

WHERE: Temple Beth-El 70 Orchard Ave. Providence, RI

REGISTRATION: $595 before 8/25 (extended!) $795 after 8/25 $35 CEUs (35 credits NASW-RI)

FOR ADULTS: Self Care and Resilience Integrating Mindfulness into Daily Life

  • Learn practices for self-care and wellness

  • Understand the science behind these practices

  • Build community with others also integrating mindfulness skills

  • Take away specific tools for managing classrooms, board rooms, and family rooms in a more mindful way

FOR TEENS: Leadership, Empowerment and Resilience Through Mindfulness

  • Develop techniques to become more mindful

  • Build leadership skills

  • Increase confidence and self awareness

  • Meet other students with similar interests

  • Manage stress in a more effective manner

  • Various modalities for guided mindfulness practice
  • Large and small group discussion
  • Self-Reflection, journaling, art, and nature
  • Healthy coping skills for stress management

NOVEMBER 20-21 8:00a - 3:00p

  • Build upon your skills from October
  • Separate tracks for content focus
  • Small group learning
  • Practice teaching

OCTOBER 2-3 8:00a - 3:00p

  • Introduction to mindfulness and brain science
  • Yoga, art, nature and journaling
  • Team Building activities
  • Cope with stress, resolve conflicts, and handle adversity

NOVEMBER 20-21 8:00a - 3:00p

  • Build upon your skills from October
  • Enhance learning with workshops on topics like social media, athletics, or social justice
  • Apply what you have learned back to your daily life
